Renowned Chef Teri Appleton Villanueva has partnered with BBQ Outlets to teach you how to replicate her delicious recipes on your grill!
About Teri
Teri is co-owner and cooking instructor at Chef Tech Cooking School based in Long Beach, CA. Prior to that, she graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in addition to studying Spanish at UCLA and in Guadalajara and Colombia. She also studied authentic Mexican cooking with culinary superstar Rick Bayless in Veracruz and Oaxaca.
Teri is an award-winning pastry chef, head chef, and recipe formulator who has been working in professional kitchens and teaching people to cook for the last 25 years. We are honored to have her join the BBQ Outlets team and share her expertise with all of our customers!

Teri’s Secret Recipes
We filmed Teri teaching us how to make three of her specialties on location in Southern California in Eliot’s backyard. Eliot is another renowned chef and long-time customer of BBQ Outlets – we designed his fabulous outdoor kitchen featuring a premium Hestan grill that Teri was thrilled to use!
